I am comtemplating training for a new career. Any paralegals, tell me how you like your job.?
I am 46 years old and my current job as a data entry operator will be obsolete in about 10 years. I want to train now and move on before this happens. I already have an associates degree in business management, but it has been 7 years since I utilized it. I feel I need further training to stay at my present income.
I used to teach paralegal classes and I have seen paralegals in all aspects of the profession. There are many online programs that will allow you to get a good paralegal education. Since you already have an associate degree, you should try to get a job in a law firm and work your way into a paralegal position.
If you have questions, feel free to email me.

I like it fine. It can be stressful. You should take into account a field before you start applying for positions. Fields like litigation, personal injury, etc. will be much more stressful than say estate or real estate law. Real estate law and accounting law incoporates a great deal of math so take that into account as well. I’ve done just about all of it at some point and much prefer the pace of real estate and estate law. Good luck and get your typing speed up to 60wpm or more.
